This warm, comfortable and relaxing home offers an escape from life's hectic pace and somehow magically brings families closer together.  A home in every sense of the word, this is a place where parents and children play together and rediscover the simple warmth of being a family.

A welcome sign on the front porch promises "paradise found" as you enter this traditional low country home, and the two-story front entry hall with marble floors and clear views through the living room out onto the golf course and pond begins to fulfill the promise.

The entire East side of this home offers multiple French doors and large windows that bring the natural beauty and views of the second fairway, pond and island landscape into the living room, breakfast room, kitchen and master bedroom.  When you awake each morning you can choose between coffee on the porch or your breakfast with the sun streaming into the entire house.

In addition to its natural vistas, the living room is designed for family entertaining.  Two large and extremely comfortable sofas, a cozy chair/ottoman, wood coffee and end tables surround the fireplace.  Built-in cabinets and shelves on either side of the fireplace offer a TV with DVD player, games, books and island decorations.  Just off the main living area is an exterior porch with teak Adirondack style chairs and tables for relaxing outside and enjoying the Island's natural beauty.

An open floor plan flows from the living room to the dining area.  Situated between a large bay window with window seat cushions and the breakfast bar is a large shaker dining table with seating for 8.  For more casual dining, the raised dining countertop seats 3 on breakfast bar stools.

With its views to the outside, white wood cabinets, white tile floor and abundant lighting, the kitchen is bright and cheerful both day and night.  To say that this kitchen is well equipped is an understatement.  In addition to the refrigerator/freezer, range/oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster you will find dishes/silverware/glasses and mugs for more than a dozen people along with a full collection of cookware, bake ware and utensils.

Just off of the kitchen is a fully equipped laundry room with full sized clothes washer and dryer.

The den/study offers a queen sized sleeper sofa, lounge chair with ottoman, desk, TV and DVD player.  Just off of the main living area, this room can be shared by all or become a private study, children's den, or a fifth bedroom.

The first floor also offers 2 bedroom suites.  The first master bedroom suite is designed with shaker style furniture including a four-poster king sized bed, 2 end tables, "his" tall dresser, "hers" dresser with mirror and a lounge/reading chair with ottoman.  This master bedroom also has large windows and French doors leading to the porch and overlooking the fairway and pond.  Both the walk-in closet and private master bathroom are expansive, offering a large Jacuzzi style tub, glass enclosed shower, and vanity with two sinks.

The second bedroom suite on the first floor is designed with white "Nantucket" style cottage furniture including a queen sized bed, end table, dresser with mirror, lounge/reading chair, TV and closet.  The attached private bath is decorated in island colors.

Up the stairs to the second floor via the center hall open stair and balcony lead to the third and fourth bedrooms.  The third bedroom features 3 twin beds, dresser, walk-in closet and window views overlooking the golf course and pond.  The fourth bedroom is decorated in cheerful multicolor bed linens and drapes and offers a double bed, a twin bed, dresser, closet and window views overlooking the golf course and pond.  The third and fourth bedrooms have private sink vanities and share a bath/shower between them.
